El Acapulco Mexican Restaurant: Experience Authentic Mexican Flavors in Columbus

A pretty typical Mexican restaurant with all the normal fare. They were very accommodating to menu modifications.

A wonderful Mexican restaurant with plenty to choose from, food and drinks alike. There is a nice outdoor seating area as well as a spacious indoor area for seating. The hostess was extremely friendly and welcoming. Absolutely no complaints on the food and drink, but it was fairly slow when we were there, and we kind of felt rushed. But all in all, was a great dinner!

This place has friendly and quick service. We came here with a large group and they were efficient and super accommodating. Ordered a variety of dishes I got a combination plate but will probably order the enchiladas next time because they looked amazing. They have a nice patio for outdoor eating as well as indoor seating.

First time here and was impressed on how quickly they had the food out to us. Chip and salsa came as soon as we sat down. Chips were fresh and the salsa was good. Not coated in nasty cilantro like most places. Pepsi was spot on. Taco meat was different in a good way. Not just with taco seasoning but they had onion, peppers and crushed tomatoes in it. It was like a Mexican chili. I'm going to start adding that to my tacos.

Friendly Family Owned Mexican Restaurant with the typical flair & Mexican Cuisine..... Plenty of parking & dining within this establishment. Whether your a BIG Party or small one, you'll definitely fit here.... Wide variety of options and choices from the menu....full bar and outdoor seating available too..... Close to Hotels,Motels & Highway too.... They Speak English and Spanish here.....can accommodate your need's with generous portions for the prices. I had my order to go,the only "Off Moment" was that they forgot my rice with both orders placed. Other than that, really decent comida & affordable for intimate or larger groups.....

Food is great and virtually little wait time. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation but another large party was in the section we had requested and hadn't wrapped up yet but luckily there's enough room that we were able to be seated immediately. We were celebrating a birthday and we're surprised to have a complimentary dessert for our birthday boy and everyone sang Happy Birthday and donned him with a big sombrero. We were a party of 14 and the team there took great care of us.

First off, the staff was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My party and I felt very welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. Second, service was extremely good. Our waitress, my apologies that I can't recall her name, was awesome. She was everything one would want; friendly, happy, attentive, caring, and helpful. She answered all of our questions. Third, the timing of everything was perfect, from the first basket of tortilla chips and delicious salsa, to our drinks and queso, to our main entrees. Fourth, the food was absolutely amazing. I had the Yolanda (#61) and I could not have been more satisfied. If you like well-seasoned chicken breast smothered in deliciously grilled sweet onions, then you should try this dish. Honestly, everything that my party ordered looked fantastic. Our waitress checked on us regularly which was the perfect level of attentiveness. We never felt overwhelmed by being asked how everything was too many times, though I think it was pretty evident that we were enjoying our experience. The meal ended with a very thoughtful surprise. We were celebrating my partner's birthday. When our waitress discovered it was his birthday, she quickly disappeared and came back with a fun birthday hat, and a platter of sopapias topped with ice cream and whip topping. The little kid inside of me took a bit of joy from the colored nonpareils, lol. We all sang happy birthday to ky wonderful partner. I really could not have asked for a better experience. Give this place a try when you can. I have a strong feeling that you won't be disappointed.

COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT ENOUGH! I have hooked everyone on to it. The staff is a family, and they are the kindest people in town. So welcoming, so loving, so generous. My husband and I have become regulars there. The food is amazing, very quick service, and it’s a clean space to eat. Better than any chain Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. We give them gifts during the holidays because they have become family to us. I love them and love the restaurant as a whole.
